Klaxons - Surfing The Void (Ronald Says 5 out of 10)
The Klaxons have never really had any problems with putting many ideas into a record. This results in varied songs that may need an open mind to fully enjoy. But this time no open mind can save this record and can only conclude that they overdid it this time. The album is full of overproduced tracks that sound way too pretentious. They are stuffed full of ideas and instruments and sounds. It really is a struggle trying to make it to the end of the album after which you're happy you can put it away to never play again.
