The Strokes Are Back: New Video

We had to wait for five years but any one following the music buzz couldn't miss that The Strokes are back. A new album 'Angles' is coming up March 22 and they released their first single 'Under Cover of Darkness' last week. Today they also released a video for it. I think it's a good song. Catchy guitar lines tumbling over each other and the unique nasal vocals of Julian Casablancas. I personally can't wait for the album.

Radiohead's New Single "Lotus Flower" Gets Thom Yorke Dancing

Well, dancing...kind of I guess. The track sounds pretty interesting with high pitched vocals and a groovy drum beat. I'm curious what the album 'The King Of Limbs' is gonna sound like.

Foo Fighters Release New Video On Valentine's Day

Not exactly the most romantic video but the Foo Fighters released the video for 'White Limo' today. It's a hilarious one featuring Motörhead singer Lemmy driving a white limo around while sipping Jack Daniels. More importantly the song is a hard rocking song and the boys seem to hold their promise that the new album will be hard and loud. This oughta be good.

15 Minutes Of Fame: Green Head Motherfucker

Pinkpop had some nice performances but nothing really epic. Although one man probably became a Pinkpop legend of his own: Sander Bosch with his green hair. After Green Day singer Billy Joe Armstrong asked him on stage to sing 'Longview' he didn't hesitate, jumped on stage and totally rocked Pinkpop. Respect! Make it past the singing girl first before the real fun begins:

Cartoon Time With Editors

Editors have released the new video for "Eat Raw Meat = Blood Drool". The track sticks out on the album as a weird one. Some love it but it's not my favourite track of the album although live it worked very well. The video is a great animation in the old cartoon style of the early 1900s. Check it out:
